To further develop that story, we are looking for someone who wants to grow into our supporting commercial link between customers, the market, Tomeco, and our growing companies.

What we expect from you ?

In this role, you will be the face of Tomeco for our customers. You will maintain existing relationships, develop new opportunities, and keep a close eye on the market. You will work closely with your colleagues at Coöperatie Hoogstraten to ensure that volumes, quality, and commercial planning are perfectly aligned.

You switch effortlessly between customer meetings, market analyses, internal coordination, and commercial strategic choices.

You bring structure, see opportunities, and know how to get customers excited about a collaboration that will make everyone stronger.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Together with Coöperatie Hoogstraten, you build lasting relationships with customers and closely monitor their needs and expectations.
  • You ensure accurate tracking of volumes, margins, availability, and quotations.
  • You help prepare presentations based on data in applications such as PowerBI.
  • You represent Tomeco at international trade fairs.
  • You will monitor new business opportunities from Coöperatie Hoogstraten and guide leads until a concrete and successful commercial result is achieved.
  • You will work closely with Coöperatie Hoogstraten on market insights, planning, and commercial strategy.
  • You monitor trends, price developments, and market movements and translate these into clear analyses.
  • You will contribute ideas and work on commercial projects and initiatives within Tomeco.

 

 

What your profile is ?

We are looking for someone who is professional, people-oriented, and entrepreneurial, someone who feels at home in a role where trust, clear communication, teamwork, and forward thinking are key.

  • You have three to five years of relevant commercial experience, ideally in food, horticulture, retail, or FMCG.
  • You are skilled at customer management and build natural, reliable relationships.
  • You can translate market information into concrete actions and understand how commercial choices impact daily operations.
  • You are analytical and structured, but remain flexible when the market demands it.
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently. Additional languages such as French or German are a plus.
  • You can work independently, motivate others, and are results-oriented.
  • You have a healthy drive to grow, learn, and help build a strong feel-good story.
